 Organic tea vs ordinary tea

Concept differentiation
Organic, the English name is Organic, which refers to a behavioral system that is vital, spontaneous, and non (or less) human will participate. Organic certification is not only for commodities, but for regulations followed in the supervision and control of the production, packaging, transportation, and sales of commodities.
Organic tea: It is a kind of tea that is produced and processed according to the method of organic agriculture. In its production process, no synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, plant growth regulators, chemical foods are used at all. Additives and other substances are produced in compliance with the International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements (IFOAM) standards, and certificates are issued by organic (natural) food certification organizations.
Ordinary tea: It is allowed to use high-efficiency and low-toxic pesticides, fertilizers and herbicides in the production process, but the varieties and quantities used must be controlled within the scope of the national standards. Ordinary tea is the most basic requirement for tea quality within the national allowable standards, and it is also the lowest standard for market access.
Growth environment difference

Organic tea: The production area should be far away from cities and industrial areas. The air meets the national first-level standard of atmospheric environmental quality, and the water quality of irrigation water meets the national first-class standard of surface water environmental quality. The content of heavy metals such as copper, lead, cadmium, arsenic, mercury, and chromium in the soil must be lower than the national standard for organic tea processing technology. . Production, processing, and storage sites should be kept clean and sanitary, and the use of chemicals is prohibited.
The tea garden has a good ecological environment, and the use of chemical herbicides, synergists and soil amendments is strictly prohibited. The garden soil is deep and fertile, with good permeability, organic matter content> 1.5%, pH value 4.5 to 6.5, the effective soil layer is loose, and the biological activity is strong. Toilets, manure pits, livestock pens, etc. are not allowed within 100 meters of the tea garden. It is forbidden to use artificial chemical fertilizers, compound fertilizers, compound fertilizers, rare earth element fertilizers, auxins, artificially synthesized various multifunctional foliar nutrient solutions, urban and rural garbage, and factory waste residues in organic tea gardens.

Ordinary tea: Ordinary tea has no obvious requirements for the planting environment of the tea garden. The planting base does not need to be in a primitive and pollution-free state, and the water quality, soil, and air of the planting base only need to meet the basic inspection standards of the Ministry of Agriculture.
